Sack by Syndy

I got my sack from cindy last month and havent posted it yet. I love it. Thanks Syndy. I might have to get some more bags for church now. Just the right size for all the kids things. I have had tons of compliments and tell them where they can get them.

Icky... yucky... crappy week.

As you see to day is sunday. I should be at church because we are now at 9 am but my little baby had other plans. It all started last sunday night when DM started with the ugly croupy cough. I could tell it was going to be a bad night when we told him it was time for bed.. he ran around the room saying he didnt want to go to bed and inbetween I heard the signs of the croup coming on. I was hoping for the baby to sleep at least until 6am in the morning. Well JR was put down about 10pm and did sleep until 4am buttttt.....DM got me up a 2am saying he needed cough medicine. He actually handled the whole ordeal a lot better this time than in the past. He has been my only child to get the croup and I hope it stays that way. He is at the age now where he shouldnt get it anymore. Its Scary the first time it happens and you hear your child "barking" and try to get them to calm down at only 3 years old is really hard.

Anyway. He had some medicine and we opened the door a crack to get the cold air but he got too cold so the next option was steam. He wanted to take a shower so at 230am he was taking a shower. He was in there for about 1/2 hour when he was ready to come out. He got dressed and fell asleep on the couch were I did have the window open a little to get more cold air to help him breath. He gradually got better over Monday and was happy that by 11am he wasnt barking any more. Needless to say he stayed home from school on Monday. On tuesday I dropped AN off at the bus stop 20 minutes before school starts and DM decided he wanted to go to school. He was ready in like 5 minutes. He never gets ready that fast. Tuesday went fine and he was able to stay at school tuesday. Wednesday he had a little cough in the am before school but he still went. I got a call from the nurse at 10am that he has been coughing every 5 minutes and cant seem to stop. I had to come get him. -- His bus leaves at 10:45 and I just put the baby down to sleep. -- I had to get them back up and get him from school and we made it back about 10:30am . He continued coughing all day wednesday and then thursday said his ears were hurting. Called the DR and we went in because of having the croup that past sunday and now with ear aches. He was checked out and ears were clear and lungs clear, went to school friday, and hes fine now just has a nasty cold.

Well..... of course the whole time hes home he's all over the baby. Its hard to keep the kids away. They think Im being mean or something. I noticed gradually since friday JR's nose was stuffy and yesterday he had a nice cough going. He was up practically all night last night coughing and not wanting to eat so Im exausted and stayed home to sleep. But I hear JR awake again so sleep is probably not going to happen. He is 6 months and should be sleeping most the night but isn't. Im so tired during the days now. The other boys were sleeping by 4 months at least. Maybe after this sickness he will sleep all night. Im not a happy mommy with out my sleep!!!!!!!
