All Texan now

The past couple weeks I have been trying to get our registration, license plates, drivers license taken care of. Last week I got the first two things done no problem just a TON of money for the registration... ouch ... So today I figured I would get my DL done. I went down to the DPS office around noon (i know not the best time to go) I had to wait until I put the boys down for their nap to go. Before I went I checked out the website for what I needed to bring. Had everything with me thinking I had it all but NO. I get to the first checking (they find out what you are doing and if you have proper paper work)which I thought was pretty nice. I DIDNT HAVE MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE. I guess a new rule (MAY) if you are from out of state you have to have your birth certificate. I mention how it did NOT say that under the NEW TO TX RESIDENT info for that. So I took my number as I had a 45-1hour wait anyway and came home to get my BC. I made it back with about 10 minutes before my number was called. The office is actually pretty close to my house so I knew I would have plenty of time to get back. I get back to my person and they asked if we only had the one car. NO we have 2 and they were BOTH put in MY name at the registrations office. WELL.... I had to have both registrations to continue. I come home AGAIN to get the registration and insurance out of Johns car. I was given a "LINE PASS" which I thought was nice and went back again. This is my THIRD time going there. ALAS.. I had what I needed and got my new TEXAS license but they took away my picture license from CO so now I dont have a Picture ID for 2-3 weeks. I hope I dont need to show a picture ID anytime soon. All that acutally only took about 1 1/2 hours. Pretty good I thought.

I did notice on the list of things to bring for school registration was a parents drivers license. I hope they will take my temporary one.

John was supposed to go tomorrow but he will need his ID to travel. He is heading back to CO in 2 weeks so we think he should wait on getting his. I hope he will have a long enough break between trips so he can get his new license.

You can see how big our backyard really is. The only thing you dont see is how long the sides of the yards are too. I will try to get the front of the house on this week.

MISSING BABY PRODUCT...........FOUND

So I havent been able to find the DESITIN. Guess AJ found it. THis is within 5 minutes of him leaving john's office. I dont know how fast he put it on but it must have been quick. I couldnt help but laugh. I had to grab the camera. How do you tell him not to laugh when we are laughing. :-p

HEAR YE, HEAR YE ITS FINALLY RENTED!!!!!!

Our CO home is finally rented. We have been working with a couple and their 2 sons for a while now. They actually first looked at it while we were still there packing up. We were told the wouldnt be able to move in until the 15th of August so we would only get 1/2 the rent. We really needed to get the full months. We finally agreed that we needed to get someone in there and they were atleast a for sure thing. WELL......

I heard from Connie (our property manager) today and they are taking it as the FIRST of AUGUST. WE ARE ELATED!! I dont know what changed on their end but Im really happy it did. Now we wont be so worried about having to pay 2 mortgages at the same time.

We love our house and are haveing a party for little J tonight so I hope to have different pictures of rooms in my house during the party.

Sea World Trip

My baby is turning one

In case I dont make it back on tomorrow. I wanted to tell JR Happy birthday. My baby is one on Monday the 21st. I remember clearly getting a call last year in the morning on a saturday from the hospital asking if I WANTED to come in for my induction. SURE. I wasnt going to pass that up. John and I were actually getting ready for a EQ party at the park. We went and got what we were supposed to bring, took it to the park then left for the hospital. About 730 that night JR came and has been such a blessing to our growing family. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JR!!

Our 4th.

We got to spend the 4th at Nana's ward and the rest of our families ward. They had a bouncy house, waterslide, games, food. A lot of fun. I have video of the waterslide and will put that up later when Im not so tired.

Just wanted to show you we are still alive and here. I will try to get better. I finally downloaded my pictures so I have a lot to post.

Still Here

Just wanted to let you all know we are still here. I have been so busy trying to get the house put together i havent really done much blogging for a few weeks. I do have pictures I will try to get up sometime this week. My mom and sister are coming on tuesday for a week to fix up the kids rooms. Will take pictures of their final rooms for you.

We love our ward. AN is already giving a talk in Primary. We have only been there TWICE. Im sure she volunteered for it. She LOVES giving talks. It seemed like she had one every month in our last ward. She's a great girl.

ok im back. I had to let the guy in who had my vacuum. We had our house made with the internal vacuum and we were supposed to get the parts at our closing but they were on BACKORDER. You would think if you knew someones closing was coming up you would make sure you had their vacuum. Oh well. Good thing I brought my other one with me. Im excited now to use this one. Not as heavy to move a hose compared to the whole vacuum.
