I had such an awesome time with my friends. I am emotionally drained now. I have been fulfilled with such great spirits and words from some reall awesome people. I have absolutly fallen In love with the songs from Hilary weeks. She is sooooo cool. I love to hear the background into all the songs that were sung from her and Michael McLean. I think the songs have more meaning to me when I know where they came from.

Halloween Joke
Thanks Cynthia. This is hillarious. Watch out for those parties. You might not know who is underneath the costumes. ........
Happy Halloween everyone! Here is a joke to get you in the mood for Halloween
A cabbie picks up a Nun.
She gets into the cab, and notices that the VERY handsomecab driver won't stop staring at her.
She asks him why he is staring. He replies:"I have a question to ask you but I don't want to offend you."
She answers,"My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I amand have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see andhear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you couldsay or ask that I would find offensive."
"Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.
"She responds,"Well, let's see what we can do about that: #1, you haveto be single and #2, you must be Catholic.
"The cab driver is very excited and says,"Yes, I'm single and Catholic!"
"OK" the nun says. "Pull into the next alley.
"The nun fulfills his fantasy, with a kiss that would make a hooker blush. But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.
"My dear child," says the nun, "why are you crying?""Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess,I'm married and I'm Jewish.
"The nun says, "That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party."
HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!
My baby's Growing
I had JR's 15 month apt today. ( Yes they do 15 month here not 18 month.) He is a hefty 25 lbs and 31 1/2 inches tall. I think he was 50% in weight and 60% in Height. He has such little legs. Just like his daddy. We did find out he is on the end of a ear infection. I guess that would explain the hold me while you are ONLY standing and I wont cry Crankiness that has been going on the last few days. We got some amoxicillin to help him for the next 10 days. He LOVES it. That's the best thing to him right now. After I gave him his dose he was ready for more. LOL. He will get more later tonight with another Gogurt. He really liked that too.
Not much else is going on here. John leaves tomorrow for CO and comes back LATE Friday night. DM is getting his BOBCAT award at boy scouts tomorrow. All family and friends in the area are welcome to come. just email me or call for directions. He would love to have family there. Daddy will be gone.
I am looking forward to TOFW. Time out for women this weekend. I'm going with a great group of friends from church. All you Co people talked about it so much I'm finally going. I really hope it will be good. Why wouldn't it be? Hope you all are having a great day/week/month.

Thanks mom and dad
So when we were learning how to drive we had to learn on a stick shift (standard). Mainly because the car we would most likely be driving was a really old toyota truck. Mom and dad got the automatic cars. WELL........ I am so glad that I did learn how to drive a standard car. I remember my Driving Teacher keep saying "duck feet". You know, when you have one foot on clutch and other on gas pedal, He would say "duck feet" when it was time to pull up on clutch and down on gas for smooth transaction.
Well being here around family is great. We have many cars to choose from if needed. Like today, Nana was going to take my kids and nephew to the movies (something with lots of little dogs), well papa was coming so that meant AJ got to come too. I asked Nana what car they were taking to fit 6. She was going to take Scott's car. My car was the only one there available for that option. So, they took my car, Scott was using her car for a camping trip or else I would have used hers no problem, so the only car left was Scott's jeep. And here comes the standard. If John would have dropped off the kids he would probably still be at Nana's house. He doesn't know how to drive standard.
I was afraid a couple spots on the way home as there was soooo much traffic. That was the one thing i hated about standard cars, well that and starting on a big hill. You know. like at the light by BC. (on of my DT classes was in the car starting and stopping going up the hill in the BC parking lot until I could do it smoothly without rolling back... a lot. ) I made it home. So I say
THANKS MOM AND DAD for making us learn how to drive a standard vehicle. I love you and miss you dad.

freezerfull'o'food
Back in Co we had some friends that invited us to join Town & Country Foods i think it was called. We really liked what they had to offer but since we knew we were moving soon we didn't do it. When we got here (TX) we got calls from Quality Home Foods. Humm. Sounds awfully familiar. I believe this "type" of food company is all over the states just different names.
Any way we signed up and already having our own freezer was a plus or it was extra cost for a new freezer. Although I wouldn't have minded an upright. Anyway. Our food came yesterday. I wasn't sure if it would all fit. Of course the first few boxes the guy unloaded were all the "Beef and Pork" food which I would be using most of. THEY ARE ALL ON THE BOTTOM OF MY FREEZER!!!! I get to now try to dig out what I need and have it all packed nicely again so the freezer will close. I think there was a total of 7 tightly packaged boxes now in my freezer.
Well I really do like having all this food at my disposal. This food should last us about 6 months if we plan it right. Most if it is all Ground hamburger already packaged in 1 lb packages.
The Freezer was totally empty before they came with food.
Last night while the kids had the 4 cheese pizza (really good too) I made Beef Kabobs and Pork Kabobs for John and I . The were really good. I just need to season them next time before they go on the grill. ;-)
Before they were cooked , this is what they look like right out of package
All grilled up. (sirloin)
1 sirloin and 2 pork. YUM-O!!
I highly recommend this "food product" to anyone who might have the opportunity to try it out. Really yummy. They have many different plans to suit your family and budget too.
until next time.
