AN's missing art

A few months ago AN came home really upset that her work from Art class didnt come home but everyone elses did. She thought someone stole it. WE FOUND IT TONIGHT AT THE school district ART SHOW. Her art teacher selected her art to be shown at the district show held tonight. She was among the high schools and intermediate school International Baccauloriate Art students. We actually saw a couple other pieces of Art from other kids in our Ward at church. AN had Art in the same show when she was in Kindergarted. She had a kitty in that one. She is quite the little artist. We will have to keep her going in it.




Criteria for art - had to have 5 different plants and only had 5 minutes to look at the plants to draw. Her teacher was really amazed with her coloring and all her figures she decided to put in. :)

Back from Utah

Well it was a whirlwind trip but still nice to get a way. I left last friday night getting into Utah about 11 PM. I came back sunday getting into Co about 8PM. I had a lot of fun seeing family and going to my nephews 1st birthday party. I have never seen a 1 year old rip through a cake so fast. It was funny. He sure did get messy.

JR went with me and got some bug or teeth coming in or something. He slept most of the time and was hot the other part of the time. By time I got home he was fine. Back eating again.

Now its back to painting , moving furniture, more painting, washing windows, more painting... I really hope to have it all painted by saturday night. We should then be able to put carpet in and get it rented out. Im so ready for my own house, own yard, own garage, own room, kids own room, MY OWN!!!.

oh yeah. While in UT I chopped off about 4 inches of my hair. Not a great pictures but you can see the lenght now.

More than expected

Well I heard from our neighbors insurance man about the smoke we had the other week. NOT expecting to get anything, We are getting over 1000 dollars. That will really help with getting new carpet. Wont pay for the whole carpet but will definitely pay for more than half. That will help alot.

Today was the big day

AN and I sang today in Church. I think it went really well and AN's really good friend TE was able to come watch with her mom. Thanks Gina.. We got tons of compliments. AN did a really awesome job. This was us practicing yesterday with the music online. JR had to get in the act too.

ENjoy. Sometimes you will hear AJ yelling for DM. D is the 3rd on the top row. The 3 cute little girls in the front row have all been D's "girlfriends" through out this year. The drama of a kindergartner. Im sure not going to miss that.
